Birthday Action

The boy turned ONE on Sunday.  How many litres of tears has he cried in one year?  How many tons of nappies have been added to land-fill?  How many bonus meals has Kelly acquired under the table?  How many hours of sleep did he deprive his parents of?

Who knows!

But, we are pretty happy with him and despite being tempted we will NOT be selling him on ebay after all - so stop bidding, Emily.  Here are some photos:

 

This is the gift Emily got him - it plays the alphabet song (with ZED not ZEE much to Gina's chargrin) when you press the button.  He presses it a lot.  A lot.  But he dances when he hears it.

 

The King sits amoungst his peasents.  Er...presents.

 

Kelly has been very patient - but she gets more scraps than ever before so it is a fair deal.

welcome to the Mateo blog.  Seemed like a good way for rellies and such to see what he is up to.

Today he decided to not drink his bottle when I offered it to him....but then an hour later he decided that (a) he wanted it and (b) he could manage things on his own.  he has also decided that when Grandma Denman calls on the phone - he can answer it himself.
